ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 11 preview: A return date; Stana Katic – Nathan Fillion drama

Let’s start with the obvious and very sad news: There is no new “Castle” season 6 episode airing on ABC until Monday, January 6. That’s a long time to wait. But, you have been through this sort of hiatus on the show before, and thanks to that we imagine that you are going to be able to handle it again.

But what is coming up at the end of this hiatus? That is the worthy question. While there may not be a formal title or synopsis available for the next installment (the 11th episode of the season) yet, the promo below for it suggests that one of the conflicts that Nathan Fillion’s Rick and Stana Katic’s Kate are going to run into is just the negative ramifications that come with being a star. Castle may not necessarily be a member of One Direction, but as a best-selling author people know who he is. Not only that, but they are going to question him when there are rumors started about him in the press.

We really don’t understand where the talk could be coming from about him possibly picking up a relationship again with his ex-wife. For one, we don’t know which ex-wife they are talking about, and Darby Stanchfield (Meredith) has not been reported to be coming back to the show at the moment. If she did, she’d have to make sure there was enough time off from “Scandal” for her to do it.  It’s obvious anyway that the rumors are not true, but Beckett hasn’t really been exposed to them that much yet. It was only recently that she and her fiance started to really live a public life together, and she hasn’t been exposed yet to most of this drama. So in the end, how she handles it is going to be one of the major hurdles that she needs to cross before she gets wrapped up fully in Rick’s crazy world. People are going to talk, and you have to believe in your relationship.
