‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3, episode 8 preview: Danielle Bradbery stars in midseason finale promo

Danielle Bradbery -In the latest promo for their midseason finale airing on The CW Monday night, “Hart of Dixie” really wants you to know that Danielle Bradbery is going to be a part of the proceedings.

When it comes to the promo below, what we can really promise you is that her BlueBell concert is going to feature at least some of the residents of the town, including George and his new love interest Lynly. In addition to that, you are going to have Danielle singing quite possibly the most appropriate song to ever be performed on this show: “The Heart of Dixie.” The moment that executives at The CW and producers for the show realized that this was the song’s name, we picture them in our head giving each other high-fives. It’s pretty interesting that rather than billing her as the recent winner of “The Voice” (which would be giving NBC publicity, especially given that this airs against “The Voice”), they refer to her more as one of the rising stars in country music.

Saying this about Danielle is not even that much of a stretch, given that “The Heart of Dixie” has become a top 25 single on the country radio charts. For any singer to do that is an accomplishment. Country music is notoriously difficult for female artists to break into, especially if your name is not Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, or Miranda Lambert. Danielle is the second straight winner of “The Voice” to nab a top-25 country single, as Cassadee Pope’s “Wasting All These Tears” is currently sitting at #13. We don’t want to distract too much more from the show, but this is one of the credits to “The Voice” in that they allow some of their artists freedom after the show go join a label like Big Machine, who knows the genre well and can promote their acts. Danielle’s album also drops this coming week.
