‘The Good Wife’ season 5, episode 9 preview: First video of Jason O’Mara!

What in the world is happening on “The Good Wife” moving forward? Let’s just say that there is an arrival of a man in Jason O’Mara who CBS viewers should be very familiar with already. While his own show in “Vegas” may not have lasted, he is back here on a show that has quite a reputation behind it … and we are not just talking here about its capacity for managing to continually land one great guest star after the next (though it does seem to be pretty darn great in that capacity).

Based on the first promo for this episode below, the big thing that we can say about this for now is that the show is going to feature all sorts of characters who are certainly more than fascinated to see O’Mara as a part of the family. There is some flirtation without a doubt, and then there is also flirtation between Alicia and a judge. This is something that we really didn’t see coming. (But sometimes, that won’t get you anywhere.)

One thing that we definitely do want to give the show a rousing amount of applause for at the moment is simply just actually giving us a show that runs for consecutive weeks the entire fall (even with NFL considerations thrown in there), and does not make a big fuss about it at all. Earlier this year, ABC bragged about how they were going to air “Once Upon a Time” and “Revenge” in bunches, and tonight we found out that “Revenge” is not going to be on the air again until the second Sunday in December. Seriously, that is quite a cause of frustration. Hopefully, the show will be able to keep up the level of quality in the process.
