ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: More details on Nathan Fillion – Stana Katic’s ‘baby’ episode

Castle and Beckett -If there is a “Castle” episode that is especially worth looking forward to right now, it is “The Good, the Bad,” and the Baby.” This is an hour of TV that is going to be all about the future of Castle and Beckett, and whether or not they are ready to have a conversation all about their own future as a couple. While they may now be happily engaged, there are still issues that need to be addressed … including whether or not raising a child is something that is going to be a part of their future plan.

This episode is going to air just before the Thanksgiving holiday, and while the short synopsis (via SpoilerTV) may not give away very much, it is at least proof that these two are going to have a little bit of a trial in order to figure out just how good of parents they would really be in the end:

“A dying man leaves a baby with a priest; Castle and Beckett end up taking care of the baby while they investigate.”

This story will at least allow Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion’s characters to spend time with a child, which is at least something different than spending time with Alexis. Her memories are only with one parent, while raising a child for these two would be a collective affair. We would be completely shocked if we were to ever see the two adopt the kid in this case; this story is more likely just to be about trying to figure out if children are going to be an issue for these two at some point down the road. They haven’t really ever had the conversations, and if they are going to, they better have them now rather than at some point days before the big moment she walks down the aisle.
