ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 8 preview: Watch Stana Katic’s Beckett win at Rick’s game

The answer -The only thing perhaps more entertaining than watching a scene about Castle and Beckett bicker about something in their relationship is seeing Rick come up with some sort of way in which to get what he wants … only to have it completely blow up in his face somehow.

This is what is going to happen during at least the silly portion of the story in Monday night’s new “Castle” episode “A Murder Is Forever.” Remember the sneak peek video that we shared here all about a lion named Linus? Well, this one is more or less a response to that, as we are going to see him trying to do to her exactly what she did to him: Say that there is something in one of their shared spaces that he is really not a fan of, and asking her to try and get rid of it. In this case, it is some sort of paperweight that really seems to be all about elephants on parade, and he is really just trying to play his little game here of seeing if Beckett can feel how he felt when she asked him to take Linus off of the wall in his bedroom.

Beckett’s response is a clear win for her: She has no problem taking the elephants off of the desk, which is clearly not the response that Rick was hoping for. Thanks to that, he now has to be backtrack and try to figure out just what instead he is going to do in order to get his way.

As silly as all of this is, we’re sure that there will be a solution that comes up here in a way that is a compromise where the two can hold on to all of the stuff that they cherish together, but not annoy the other person with it. This is a part of being in love, and also being in New York together. There’s only so much space that you really have, so you can’t just claim that you can put the object in a room where the other person won’t have to look at it.
