‘Bones’ season 9, episode 8 preview: Hodgins and Wendell’s ‘sticky situation’

Just in case you have felt as thought there is too much going on right now with Booth and Brennan on “Bones,” how about a sneak peek that emphasizes some of the other characters for a change? The clip below from next week’s “The Dude in the Dam” is a fun one, and it shows that sometimes, listening to Emily Deschanel’s character in the lab is not always the smartest course of action.

In this clip, the first thing that you see is Wendell trying his best to handle some of the bones that have been brought in for the case, and she instructs him to clean them off quickly. What’s the problem here? At the same time, you have an order from Hodgins for him to not to touch the bones.

Being that Wendell knows who is really in charge here, he goes along with the orders that are handed down by Brennan, thinking that this really is the right course of action for him. Unfortunately, the problem that comes up here almost immediately is that he realizes that these said bones are covered in what is a pretty heavy layer of glue. He immediately stick right to them in what is a proper scene from some sort of sitcom.

Eventually, there is a moment where Hodgins turns up, and things somehow find a way to go from already-funny to funnier. Allow this to be further evidence of the simple fact that when it comes to this show, things can escalate quickly and in a way that continues to produce a ton of laughs. So cheers to that! This episode looks to be much more standalone in nature than some of the other ones that we have seen as of late, so you may have to rely on simply that to enjoy it rather than anything else in terms of content.
