‘Bones’ season 9, episode 8 video: Death in a dam

Even though “Bones” may be nine seasons old, this show still manages from time to time to come up with a way in which to kill someone tht we never would have imagined in a million years. For the latest example of this very thing, just have a gander below at how in the world a beaver dam is going to find its way into an investigation on Monday night’s new episode.

When this episode was called “The Dude in the Dam,” they really weren’t kidding; as the sneak peek video below shows, this dude is actually really in the beaver dam! That is a little bit of a strange thing to picture in itself, mostly because you want to wonder how in the world he was put there. Also, this is a guy that should have been more than capable of surviving most of what he went through before ended up in this grave; Brennan describes him as a man in his late twenties or early thirties who was in great physical shape, and he therefore isn’t the sort that you expect to uncover at a scene.

Outside of a funny little line about how sad it is to destroy the beaver’s dam, there is really not that much to talk about when it comes to this episode. It’s a simple “Bones” hour by most estimations, with a case that probably holds little connection to anything that we’ve seen over the past few weeks. If you are wanting something that better documents what is going on for Booth and Brennan following their honeymoon, you are going to get more of that in the show’s timeslot debut on Friday night. Hopefully, it will provide everything that you’re hoping for and then some.
