‘Arrow’ season 2, episode 6 video: Oliver and Diggle forge a plan

Diggle -After having an episode of “Arrow” season 2 that was largely all about Sarah Lance and her journey to become the Canary, Wednesday night’s is going to be taking a very different approach. How much are we talking about here? Let us just say that the focus is getting set to shift more towards what happens when Oliver Queen and John Diggle make a journey over to Russia.

This could be an interesting episode in that by and large, it feels somewhat isolated from the other stories. This is more about Diggle trying to deal with a personal vendetta that he has carried over from last season, and a favor that Oliver really owes him at this point after abandoning him in order to be next to Laurel and lend her a helping hand instead. Just as you would imagine, that has to be rather frustrating for him to deal with.

Luckily, Oliver seems to firmly have his back here, and even offers to go in on the inside of a prison in order to lend Diggle a hand. However, David Ramsey’s character does not to hear anything of the sort. He is the one that has the interest in taking this guy down a few notches, and he has the means to make it happen.

But is Diggle going to make it through all right? That is what we are almost perpetually worried about when it comes to this character. We personally wonder whether Ramsey gives himself nightmares at night as he tries to figure out whether or not his character is going to live to see another day. It’s a tricky situation for him to be a part of, given that this character never existed in the comics to begin with.

What do you think is going to happen this coming week, and are you like us and worry about Diggle’s fate virtually every time that he is thrown into an episode? Share your thoughts below!
