‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Finally, graduation chatter again in Billy Joel tribute

The wait begins -When in the world are some of the remaining “Glee” students going to graduate? This is a question that we, at least for now, have to envision some people asking. It feels like this senior year for the likes of Blaine, Artie, Tina, and Sam has taken forever, and for good reason… it has. This has gone on for so long that it makes someone’s normal senior year feel short, and there is still no word on when this graduation episode will air.

Nonetheless, we do have a few more details about the graduation plans coming in “Movin’ Out,” the previously-mentioned Billy Joel tribute that airs two weeks from tomorrow on November 21. As the full synopsis below specifies, the major theme of it is trying to figure out for some of these characters what happens when they do “move out” and move forward to the next phase of their lives:

“The New Directions pay homage to the Piano Man: Billy Joel. As graduation looms closer, the seniors make plans for their futures beyond the halls of McKinley in the all-new ‘Movin’ Out’ episode.”

The path for some of the gang seems to be pretty simple, at least in that Artie will head to film school in Brooklyn, and Blaine will find a spot in New York City in order to be with Kurt. But what about Sam and Tina? Neither has seen their future fully addressed, even though the latter seems to be potentially headed to the Big Apple more than the former. Sam has more of an incentive to stick around thanks to Phoebe Strole’s character, who is working as a nurse at McKinley. They didn’t just finally give Sam an independent love interest just to cast her aside, and tell him to go to New York to be a shirtless street impressionist. That’s just in our mind what we think would happen to the guy, based on what we’ve seen so far.

Thursday night brings us the “A Katy or a Gaga” episode of “Glee,” and in the event that you want to read much more news about that, click here for a video featuring Adam Lambert and Chris Colfer.
