‘Two and a Half Men’ season 11, episode 6 preview: What is Lynda Carter doing here?

Take a look -We have heard of random guest stars appearing on TV shows before, but this is somehow even more out of left field than normal. On the new episode of “Two and a Half Men” airing on CBS this Thursday, we will have an appearance from none other than Lynda Carter, who will bring a touch of “Wonder Woman” to the proceedings. As for why she is showing up now, it turns out that Walden Schmidt, being the bizarre billionaire that he is, has a thing for bonding with former TV super-heroines.

But does Alan Harper have any chance with her at all? Somehow, this becomes the theme of the episode as we start to see Jon Cryer’s character practically beg for a chance to have  relationship with a woman that he apparently idolized at a certain time in his live. Unfortunately for him, the sneak peek below makes it appear as though he has a better chance of suddenly becoming the world’s most wealthy accountant than he does actually getting an opportunity to be with someone like Lynda. She does not appear to be particularly interested in him romantically at all, and even seems humored when Walden brings up the idea.

What is just as interesting is that Alan’s niece Jenny, despite being much younger, somehow still is very familiar as to who Lynda Carter is. This is somewhat surprising, but it’s not so surprising at all that she wants to make her one of her latest conquests. Lynda’s response to that is pretty hilarious, but it looks like Jenny is also striking out in this regard.

We suppose we should at least give the writers credit for trying to mix things up, and bringing a new face into the show to stir things up and create a little bit more conversation. It’s just interesting that last year they were able to bring in someone in Miley Cyrus that was huge in the 18-49 demographic, and while we know that Lynda has her fair share of fans, we don’t see nearly as many people talking about this one.

Carter is not the only TV star to be making an appearance on the show this month; click here if you want to see what CBS host is going to be stopping by for some sort of guest spot of his or her own.
