‘The Good Wife’ season 5 spoilers: Will the truth about Alicia’s exit be revealed to Will?
For example, are we going to see Will find out exactly why Alicia chose to leave, at least when it related to the feelings that she has for him? It at least seems like it, based on what executive producer Robert King had to say to TV Guide:
“Before [Alicia] gets on the elevator, she said it wasn’t personal. [Will] said, ‘I don’t give a d**n. The question is, even if he does find out, does he give a d**n? It’s not enough to get the information. [What’s] also important [is], how do you act upon it?”
We never suspect that the relationship possibilities for Alicia and Will are over, and in the end the two heading to separate firms has to be a good thing when it comes to their own future odds together. After all, this does enable them to not have the restraint of work put upon them at the same time, though there is still the other major restraint out there known as Peter.
But now that everything is at least out in the open, it does raise the possibility of how some of these characters can try to heal and move forward … but it’s not going to be easy. As a matter of fact, we can’t imagine seeing either Will or Alicia looking forward very much to being in the same room as the other for quite a while.
