‘NCIS’ season 11: Cote de Pablo’s Ziva joins ‘Community,’ ‘Mistresses’ on People’s Choice list

The latest -For those of you “NCIS” fans looking to get one last chance to celebrate Ziva in 2013 (and we hear from you all the time about it), there is going to be an opportunity to do just that courtesy of the 2013 People’s Choice Awards.

Even though Cote de Pablo may have already left the show this fall, you can still vote for Ziva and Tony in the Favorite On-Screen Chemistry category here. For all of you who are really hoping to show your devotion and to show CBS that you really miss her on the show, this is probably the best way to do it. There are some really prominent couples on that list, and we could almost see any of them being nominated at the end of the day. (The top choices become the “official” nominees a little later in the voting process.) Anyone who makes it onto that final ballot has obviously done so with a ton of support.

“NCIS” itself was not on the list for Network TV Drama surprisingly, though you can vote for either Mark Harmon or Pauley Perrette in the acting categories. We also want to point out a few other surprises here across the board.

-Despite getting snubbed sometimes in the past, “Community” is ironically getting some love this year for their worst season. Strange, no?

-Somehow, “Mistresses” got on the network drama list over “NCIS” or its spin-off. We know that ABC’s summer series had fans, but this many?

– We find it interesting that the show is actually choosing to nominate a streaming category at all, given that this is the sort of thing that so many of them are afraid of. (Oh no! The future!)

In the end, there’s a lot of good stuff on there to nominate. We’ve given these sort of “choice” awards shows some grief over the years for having way too many categories, but at the end of the day, it’s all about the fans getting to feel like they are giving something tangible to some of their favorites. Also, this awards show is cool in that most of the winners here typically don’t get recognized at other awards shows, and they deserve some recognition.
