‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 9, episode 7 video: More Alyson Hannigan mayhem

Get ready -Have we just learned something else about Lily on “How I Met Your Mother”? The beauty of Alyson Hannigan’s character is largely that she has two different modes: The one when Marshall is around, and the one where she is away. Basically, she’s a frisky, boozy mother who is so desperate for an excuse to party, she will get crazy-drunk two days before a wedding to the point where she wants to ensure that a drink is constantly in her hand.

While the preview video below for Monday’s episode does not include a ton of new information that you did not see in the original video, we have at least a few interesting other highlights worth checking out, and for a variety of reasons. Not only is there a new scene at the end regarding just what Lily’s been ordering on the room-service television, but there are some more spooky notes in here in celebration of the Halloween holiday.

The real disappointment here, though, is mainly the fact that there is still no mention of what in the world happened with Daphne’s text message. At the end of this past episode, we saw the character (played by Sherri Shepherd) text Lily supposedly with the news that Marshall is actually going to become a judge, as he took the offer that was previously given to him. We didn’t actually see her do this, though, and you could therefore say if you really want to that what we are looking at here is the case of her trying her best to get under Marshall’s skin. There is nothing that would better hold the character hostage, after all, then seeing what would happen if he thought that his wife would be permanently-angry with him.

What’s your take on this video, and are you still hopeful that this Lily storyline, polarizing as it has been so far, can really turn around? Be sure to share below!
