‘Boardwalk Empire’ season 4, episode 7 preview: A new video; an Al Capone teaser

Check it out -As we now enter the second half of “Boardwalk Empire” season 4, there are many stories that need to be addressed. You obviously have what is going on with Nucky Thompson in terms of the Tampa operation, and then you also have the very complicated story of Al Capone, who is clearly going to have a pretty serious ax to grind (or bullets to fire, if you will) following what happened to his brother.

What of course remains as the most intriguing part of this story is that they are basically taking on the challenge of trying to mix in real life, while keeping it faithful to the tale, with some elements of fiction. Other shows have also pulled this off over the years, but there is no question that it is a pretty difficult thing to do … especially effectively.

The first few minutes of Sunday’s episode are going to specifically contain a pretty heated moment for Capone as he tries to avenge Frank, and based on what Stephen Graham (who plays the character) tells TV Guide, you are probably not going to be disappointed if you have high hopes for this:

“That’s a way to get rid of his aggression and his anger about what’s happened to Frank. He’s just like, ‘The first cop I see, I’m going to kill.’ He kills him right outside the police station, so that’s like a great big f— you to the police. It’s like, ‘I know it was you. Come and get me if you think you’ve got the power.’ That was completely an act for him to get rid of the demons that he no longer wants to carry.”

By the end of this episode, the picture that we will see with Capone is probably going to be much clearer, and to go along with that, we’re also going to get a much greater sense as to what is going to be happening next with Nucky. In the video sneak peek below from tomorrow night, he claims that all is going to be fine when it comes to Tampa.
