Sometimes, there are photos that immediately start to make us question just what in the world is going on with them. This one for “Hart of Dixie” has to be at the top of the list. You’ve got Lemon cleaning stairs with a cart of supplies, and the you have Zoe watching her. Almost everything from this photo screams “awkward” at the top of its lungs.
This image is specifically from the third episode of season 3, which carries with it the title of “Take This Job and Shove It.” While the official synopsis below isn’t going to give you too much in the way of information as to what is going on here, it does at least provide a valuable bit more in the way of insight into how Rachel Bilson’s character is going to find herself in some hot water in the town:
“Trying to avoid a confrontation with Brick (Tim Matheson), Zoe (Rachel Bilson) begins discreetly seeing patients in BlueBell again. But her plan goes awry when George (Scott Porter) informs her she has a non-compete clause in her contract that prevents her from practicing for a year in the town. Lavon (Cress Williams) is thrilled at the chance to bring a minor league baseball team to BlueBell, but needs Brick’s help to woo the team’s owner. Elsewhere, Lemon (Jaime King) finds herself in hot water with the Belles after she tries to overthrow the current leader. Meanwhile, George finds himself needing medical attention during a tutoring session with Lynly (guest star Antoinette Robertson), forcing him to call Zoe for help.”
In case you have not heard, this episode is going to be the one that features a guest appearance from the band The Hand and the Heart, which is going to be both some good publicity for them, and also another great act to rock out the Rammer Jammer. Let’s just hope that Jaime King gets a different outfit to wear by the time we see this one air on The CW. (Also, let’s hope the ratings stay constant until that point so that we can actually focus on something other than the numbers.)
What do you want to see take place on “Hart of Dixie” season 3 pressing on? Do you think that Lemon and Wade can keep up their “dating” charade? You can see a preview for tomorrow night’s episode at this link, and we’ll have a full review immediately upon its conclusion on TV.
