ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Is Emily and Daniel’s engagement in trouble?

When you stop and think about it for a minute, the biggest shocker of all for Emily and Daniel on “Revenge” would be for the couple to actually get married, given that almost everything so far has been set up in order to make us believe that a ceremony is not actually going to happen. Remember exhibit A, that this is all just a part of Emily’s plan, and then throw in exhibit B, and that is that Victoria Grayson has made quite a livelihood out of trying anything and everything to destroy what Emily holds dear.

This leads us to a question that many fans have: When is the moment that we will see Emily and Daniel’s relationship tested the most? When, and if, are they finally going to end this little charade? The first major sign that trouble may be on the horizon could come via details on the upcoming October 27 episode “Control,” which feels aptly-titled given that Emily is losing such a good deal of control on not only her life, but also the plan that she has long felt was as secure as secure could be.

“Emily may be losing hold of her plan, and her groom, when Daniel makes a startling statement at the Voulez magazine launch party, leaving her vulnerable and ready to do whatever it takes. And Jack is forced to make a difficult decision for the sake of his family after he finds himself in a new enemy’s crosshairs.”

As viewers at this point, the best actual jaw-hits-the-floor reaction to this story would be if Emily and Daniel actually go through with the original plan and get married. Just think about that for a minute. Is this something that you would see coming? How awkward would their honeymoon be, and would Emily find a way to commit a takedown on who shows up at their honeymoon villa in Bora Bora? (We just assume that the tropics would be an ideal location.)
