‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ reunion preview: Joe and Teresa Giudice cry over court case
Are Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe going to address their upcoming trial on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion show? The answer to that is an unabashed yes, and not only that, but they are going to get a surprising amount of support from some of the cast members. When you look back at this season and some other reunion shows that have played out over the years, there has been an underlying theme that has played out through most of them and that theme is “drama”. Oftentimes, most of this drama is silly and about parties or arguments. It’s actually ironic that Teresa is keeping herself better together in this particular circumstance than she has for many of the other fights that she has gone through prior to this reunion special. Perhaps going through a process like this is a way to keep everything in perspective.
Before we get to anything else, let’s start by sharing what the official synopsis of this special is according to Bravo:
“On an emotionally charged Reunion Part 2, Teresa and Joe open up about the indictment charges they are faced with; Rosie candidly shares her experience on the show, and the rest of the ladies discuss their overall sentiments on this season.”
The support that Teresa and Joe are getting here is mostly in the form of sympathy. We don’t hear Melissa or Joe Gorga saying anything negative about the two in the video sneak peek below, and their concern is mostly for the pair’s four daughters who are having to see all of this happen in a very public way. As they age, they also are becoming more and more cognizant of how they are being perceived by the public.
Maybe next season the show will shift back to the insanity and the table-tossing that we know and love, but the first thing we have to do before getting there is wait to even see who is going to be a part of it. Teresa has to see how her trial goes with Joe, Caroline Manzo is already leaving, and Andy Cohen has to figure out whether or not he wants to continue to go down this rabbit hole with the Giudices, or move on to some other wealthy Garden State families.
