‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 9: How does Sherri Shepherd get Marshall in trouble?

The latest -During Monday night’s “How I Met Your Mother” episode, we had what felt like a leap in logic when we saw that Sherri Shepherd’s character of Daphne was not really involved in the story. What was the problem? We were still seeing Marshall traveling across the country with her in order to get to Far Hampton in time for the wedding, and do you really think that she was going to be quiet for a full episode while Marshall communicated via Skype? The only thing that we can think of is that maybe they stopped for a break and he was hiding out somewhere.

Well, don’t worry about this sort of dilemma happening again for the rest of the season. Sherri will be back for sure in a episode called “No Questions Asked,” the seventh episode of this season airing in a matter of weeks. Not only that, but a message sent by the character will cause a whole mess of trouble for Marshall as he tries to keep something a secret from Lily. Just take a look at the full synopsis below:

“When Daphne sends a troubling text message to Lily, Marshall enlists the gang’s help to remove the message while enforcing the ‘No Questions Asked’ rule.”

If you think about this for about a second and a half, it really isn’t going to be too difficult to figure out what it could be pertaining to. After all, there is only one secret that Marshall is really keeping right now: That he has been offered a position as a judge, and he wants to tell her that he took the job face-to-face. As soon as the news does break, things are going to get ugly; we just imagine that if she finds out before he arrives, she may find a way to develop telekinetic powers and cause Marshall and Daphne to get a series of flat tires, abandoning them in the middle of nowhere long enough that they are forced to actually become friends.
