‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Wilson Bethel teases interesting times ahead for Zoe, Wade

Are you still shipping “Zade” hard on “Hart of Dixie”? Then you will be pretty pleased to hear that even though Zoe and Wade aren’t together right now, they are hardly out of each other’s lives. As a matter of fact, Wade could ultimately become his unique version of a jealous ex or a walking version of an internet troll over the coming episodes as he has to try to get used to Zoe having a new boyfriend in Joel, who is someone with a far different background than his own.

The good news when it comes to the two parties? That Wilson Bethel tells E! News that at least on his end, we’re not going to see Wade necessarily angry at Zoe or taking anything out on her for the present situation (hooray for that):

“Wade got his feelings hurt but he’s also not the type of guy to hold grudges so I think he’s pretty quick to forgive and forget. But it looks at least in the short term that Zoe has moved on so that is kind of a bummer.”

So while he may forgive and forget, that doesn’t mean that harassing her new beau is necessarily off-limits. The following quote is, shall we say, rather awesome when it comes to the potential for entertaining television:

” I think his M.O. is kind of just giving this dude a hard time as one would when one is hanging around their ex-girlfriend’s new fella.”

Yes, we’re totally all for some sort of Joel vs. Wade fight, especially if it occurs in the Rammer Jammer while some celebrity band is playing in the background. Basically, it’d feel like a modern-day Western minus the cowboy hats.

While there’s no footage of a throw-down in it, you can at least see at the link here some of the first footage from next week’s all-new episode.
