Jimmy Fallon, Miley Cyrus engage in various ‘We Can’t Stop’ silliness

Late Night with Jimmy FallonOnly a matter of a few short days after taking the “Saturday Night Live” stage, Miley Cyrus made an appearance last night on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” a place that is pretty familiar to her and not the sort of place where she has to face uncomfortable sit-downs with Matt Lauer.

Rather than focusing on any one particular interview related-portion, we have a couple of video highlights from the show last night that are sure to put a smile on your face.

1. First of all, we have Miley doing an acapella version of “We Can’t Stop” alongside various members of The Roots and Fallon himself. In terms of pure coolness, it would be a lie to sit here and say that this is anywhere near as awesome as what we saw via some of Fallon’s videos featuring childhood instruments (see Robin Thicke’s blurred lines for more on that); but, it’s pretty cool to see the entire group as though they are members of the Brady Bunch.

2. The second video is something that Jimmy has done before with his guests in a variety of different forms: He claims that the two did some work on a fake show together years ago, and then shows a “video” of something that is really more like a “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” sketch where we watch the two try to do a sign with mannequin arms rather than their actual hands. Given that this particular scene is at a nail salon, this makes things in particular awkward, but also rather funny. While it’s easy to mock Miley, she’s always been pretty strong as an improv artist and performing in front of a crowd comes naturally to her.
