‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: A Bernadette / Howard fight leads to…

For those of you curious to see some more conflict coming on “The Big Bang Theory,” there is going to be something pretty major coming up for Howard and Bernadette. So just how bad will it be? While we certainly do not expect there to be a divorce in the near future (mostly because that would not be very funny for this show), seeing these two get angry at each other seems to be very much natural to real life. Let’s put it this way: If you were in Bernadette’s shoes, how often do you think you would be blowing up at Howard? We have a feeling that the answer to that question is “quite a bit.”

This story may actually be the B-plot in “The Workplace Proximity,” the episode of the show airing a week from Thursday night. Why is that? You don’t have to look any further than the synopsis below for evidence:

“Sheldon must decide how much ‘Amy time’ is too much after she takes a job at his university. Meanwhile, Howard finds himself sleeping on Raj’s couch after a fight with Bernadette.”

What is particularly interesting here about the Sheldon story here is that any human would have trouble with the sort of transition that he is making with his significant other. But when you are Sheldon, and life revolves around a routine so stringent that it can cause some people to completely lose their minds, you know that you are going to be dealing with what could very well be comedy gold.
