‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: First look at Muse Watson’s return as Mike Franks

More news -Excited to see some more of what is coming up on “NCIS” season 11? Then you will appreciate the show choosing to bring back a man who is famous to any longtime fan of the CBS hit: Muse Watson’s Mike Franks. He is going to be back in a way that is very curious, as we will see him connected to a new case that has quite an international feel to it.

Watson will appear in the fourth episode of the season entitled “Anonymous Was a Woman,” and based on the description below, he will be found out here in some way thanks to what McGee and Gibbs are up to:

“Gibbs and McGee travel to Afghanistan when a murder case leads them to an Afghan women’s shelter Mike Franks secretly supported for years.”

Apparently, Tony was left back in Washington for this particular case, which makes some sense given all of the travel that he has done over the past couple of years, but is this case going to go anywhere beyond this episode? Right now, we see it as doubtful. It’s going to take a little bit of time now for a long-term story to form up again, and we are in particular looking more towards the November sweeps for something big to happen. That is when we are going to meet some more new characters, including one in Bishop that could be staying around for quite a while depending on what the fan reaction is.

While we have not addressed the elephant in the room as of yet, we’re going to do it now: Click here if you want to hear what series boss Gary Glasberg had to say recently about Cote de Pablo’s exit, and how all of the pieces for the first two episodes originally came about.
