‘Arrow’ season 2: See Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, and more in awesome new photos

Sometimes, we give The CW a hard time for their official promotional photos looking terrible. Sometimes, they are cheesy; other times, they have some sort of theme attached to them that really does not have anything to do at all with the show itself.

So on this particular occasion, there is a reason to smile at the sight of Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, and some of the other “Arrow” stars in their official promotional shots for the new season. They are not only crystal-clear to look at from a detail perspective, but there at least seems to be some sort of tie-in for some of the important characters. Laurel, for example, seems to be on the steps of a District Attorney’s office, whereas Diggle and Felicity are very well in the “Arrow” version of the Batcave.

While it may appear to be silly to draw analogies between promotional photos and quality, we see a show that has good images as one that is proud of the work that they are putting out on the screen. If “Arrow” is putting in the time and the money to give us these sort of images to share as an outlet, then think of what they are actually doing with the product for the series. In case we’re not making it clear enough, these are some of our favorite promotional photos of the entire year, up there with the “Scandal” stars’ campaign in the rain. They are miles better than the “Vampire Diaries” actors simply being in front of a white background, or the awful “Once Upon a Time” shots that ABC seemed so unhappy with that they disappeared from the internet.

Also, it’s nice to get a shot here for every single character that is involved in the main story, including some in Det. Lance and Moira Queen that are typically forgotten about.
