‘Two and a Half Men’ season 11 spoilers: Amber Tamblyn promoted to series regular

Take a look -Ready for some big news coming courtesy of “Two and a Half Men“? Well, know this: You’re going to be seeing a heck of a lot more of Amber Tamblyn.

CBS confirmed on Wednesday that the former “Joan of Arcadia” star, who originally joined the show in the premiere as Charlie’s booze-loving, lady-chasing daughter Jenny, is going to be a series regular the rest of the way. She was originally booked for just five episodes, but clearly the response to her being on the show has been positive enough for the network and producers to decide that they want to see a little bit more of her.

From a creative standpoint, this has to be considered pretty good news for the show’s fans. Tamblyn keeps things a little bit fresh and different, and you never want to see anything start to become bland or predictable. There’s really not that much left to tell when it comes to Alan and Lyndsey, and unless Walden finds a way to get Kate back, it’s hard to care that much about his character sleeping with random women. Even if she is more or less a female version of Charlie Harper, this is what viewers crave, and CBS at this point has to be all about just trying to give their viewers a little bit of what they want.

“Two and a Half Men’s” numbers are down after one episode, but we suspect that the primary reason why for now is merely because of it now airing following “The Big Bang Theory.”

What do you think about the promotion here, and are you excited to see much more of Amber? Be sure to share below! Meanwhile, take a look at the link here if you’re interested in seeing a bit more of what happens with Tamblyn on the show in the immediate future.
