‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Rachel Bilson on Zoe, Wade, and return to Bluebell
Are you ready to see Dr. Zoe Hart back in Bluebell? Well, the good news is that you’re not alone; unfortunately for Zoe, the only people who seem to want her back are those watching “Hart of Dixie,” and not anyone in the cozy Alabama town.
As for why she is getting such a cold reception in the first place, much of the reason here is simply due to the fact that the residents are going to feel as though they were abandoned by Zoe when she went back to New York at the end of last season. This is at least the opinion of Rachel Bilson, who says such in the new video below via the CW show’s Facebook page. Nobody is going to be willing to talk to her much at first, which isn’t much of a surprise given that nearly half a year has passed, and she has been off being a doctor in New York City that has plenty of them. For a town like Bluebell, having a young doctor was something a little bit different.
Bilson also takes a moment to speak a little about one of the show’s favorite couples in Zoe and Wade, but if you are cheering for these two to have some sort of happy romance again soon, you may be feeling a little bit let down by the following: It’s not going to happen right away. Both are going to have other things going on with their lives courtesy of other relationships. Let’s just say that there is more than one reason Zoe comes back to Alabama on Monday still with the intentions of going right back to New York City.

Zoe Hart is my least favorite character on the show. She is self serving and not honest about her feelings, esp toward Wade. He professes his love and she runs away…what an idiot. I love Wade and if Zoe and Wade ever get back together…she needs to change into a better person. And there better be some romance that we can enjoy.

I totally agree with you Judith. She irritates me. I also think she is selfish and mean to poor Wade. She doesn’t give him any credit. He is still in love with her and I think she is running away from hers by wanting to stay in NY. Fear. In the opener last night she said it is easier in NY. Maybe it is, but who wants easy—it’s boring. A complicated, passionate relationship is what she is running from. She would really have to give of herself if that would happen. Right now—she can’t. She better get with the program in the next weeks to come. We have 21 more episodes. Get it together Zoe.
