ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3: Jennifer Hudson impersonates Kerry Washington in Funny or Die video

Are you ready to see Jennifer Hudson as a “fixer”? Well, she is a little bit of a different sort of fixer in a new Funny or Die video that serves as a spoof of “Scandal.”

In it, you have an opportunity to see former “American Idol” and “Smash” star Jennifer Hudson wander around Washington DC in an effort to try and solve some problems. The twist here? The issues that we are dealing with here are related more to health care than anything that has to do with people getting killed or cheating rumors. Given that this is ultimately a skit from Funny or Die designed more to promote health-care options, it can be considered lucky that there is any humor in it at all.

There is a decent amount of attention put in here to at least spoofing the show in question. There are some great lines in here that parallel the series, and even more importantly, Hudson wears the same sort of outfit that Olivia has on in the picture here and in a number of other scenes from the show. These are the sort of outfits that make you wonder whether or not Olivia’s dry cleaner hates her for bringing in so many difficult objects to clean.
