ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3, episode 1 preview: Jack’s ultimatum; Emily’s pain
“Revenge” fans, the long wait is almost over. On Sunday night, the drama will be back with new episodes, as will the opportunity to debate over some of your favorite characters, and try to figure out just some of what they really want.
When it comes to Emily Thorne, the picture is clearer for us than it is for most of the other characters: She wants to take Victoria and Conrad Grayson down a notch, and is willing to do almost anything that she can in order to make it happen. This means staging a wedding potentially to Daniel, and then planning out ways in which to destroy her every step of the way. But what makes the sneak peek below interesting is that it may be easy to assume things that may not necessarily be true. For example, do you actually see Daniel dressed up as the groom on the wedding day? Emily may not also be altogether pleased after finding out that an old flame (Karine Vanasse of “Pan Am”) of Daniel’s from France has arrived back on the scene.
Meanwhile, other characters also appear to be making their intentions clear for now. Jack wants to see Emily gone by the end of the summer, Victoria has herself a new ally in the form of her secret son Patrick (or at least she thinks he is), and there is no guarantee anymore than Aiden is going to be on Emily’s side. Add to all of this Conrad suffering some sort of medical event, and you could have the juiciest and most revealing handful of episodes yet. And yes, we are using “most revealing” in more ways than one, at least based on this promo alone.

1- She has rings and a flute of champagne, so she definitively married. And the shooting scene arrived after the wedding ceremony. What went wrong is the wedding party (as usual for all parties organized either by Graysons or Emily).
2- Neither guests nor a pilot on the yatch. When Emily fell out, she doesn’t have shoes. Strange isn’t it? She is on the third floor of the yatch, another strangeness.
3- Why has she been shot in the stomach not in the chest, third strangeness?
4- Emily wanted the wedding of the century, a yatch it’s too small for that, even her engagement party was bigger.
5- “The greatest fear is the truth is absolute!” Three hypothesis : (1)The shooting is real; The scene is symbolic : (2) either for the first time, Emily is not fearless, because she has had a huge revelation, or (3) she simply revealed who she really is to all.
6- Emily’s lovers in rebellion, fantastic and more quarrels!
