Despite “The Walking Dead” premiering on AMC two weeks from Sunday, it feels almost like things have been a little bit quieter on the news front lately. Maybe this is in part due to the flurry of news related to “Breaking Bad,” or simply that most of the hysteria is being saved until the big-time publicity tour in the week leading up to the show coming back. We surely don’t think it’s because the show is starting to lose steam; while we don’t know how much further the audience can increase, you do not get the sense that things have peaked here at all.
What we have for you today are the titles of the first four episodes of the season, along with a brief synopsis of each one too go along with it. These come courtesy of SpoilerTV.
Episode 4×01, “30 Days without an Accident” – “The group lives an ideal life at the prison, and strives to hold onto humanity.”
Episode 4×02, “Infected” – “The group faces a new enemy; Rick and the others fight to protect their hard-won livelihood.”
Episode 4×03, “Isolation” – “A group leaves the prison to search for supplies; the remaining members of the group deal with recent losses.”
Episode 4×04, “Indifference” – “The supply mission faces hurdles; the situation at the prison worsens.”
The first thing that came to our mind after seeing these was pretty simple: Isn’t it somewhat of a surprise that there hasn’t been an episode titled “Infected” before? We don’t know how this happened! The actual synopses are pretty spoiler-free (which we don’t mind), and they at least give you a sense that there will be more of both danger and death coming up on the show soon.
