Have you wanted to catch a real glimpse of Amber Tamblyn on “Two and a Half Men” season 11? Well, we think that you are about to get an opportunity to do just that.
In the video below, you can figure out a little bit about what this character in Jenny brings to the table, and based on what we are seeing on her so far, she really does fit the bill as advertised. She really is a female version of Charlie Harper, at least so far. What is a little bit interesting is that the promo specifically mentions her as a “guest star,” which may mean that producers still don’t know just what they want to do with her just yet. If the role is well-received, it is possible she could eventually become a series regular in the place of Angus T. Jones, who may not appear at all this season as the actor attends college. (There is reportedly a standing invitation for him to come back.)
On the surface, we think that Tamblyn is a brilliant addition to the show in that she’s very talented, funny, and is going to be someone viewers at least take seriously on a certain level. When you read the role of Charlie’s lesbian daughter that is often crude, it would have been very easy for the show to just go the predictable route with stereotypes left and ride to continue along the predictable / cruel path that it has been on over the years, but they have decided to go in a different direction.
