‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: Prepare for a Hanna / Caleb surprise

“Pretty Little Liars” definitely has a major problem on their hands when it comes to a certain pair of characters in Hanna and Caleb at the moment. The two both are very much together right now, and given that Tyler Blackburn is going to be one of the stars of the upcoming “Ravenswood” spin-off show, it is pretty easy to make the assumption that they are going to be splitting up at some point in the near future.

Well, we have some news for you now: It does not appear like that is happening soon. As Blackburn himself tells E! News, the two are actually still going to be on good terms when Caleb stays behind in Ravenswood; as a matter of fact, he does so largely in part to something that Hanna tells him. The secret behind why he is staying the in the town has to be critical, given that there is no other reason why he would supposedly leave someone that he cares about greatly, especially when he knows that this same person constantly feels almost as though they have their life on the line with “A” going ballistic.

The good thing about “Ravenswood” is that even though we are looking at a spin-off show here, it is one that takes place so close to Rosewood that there is crossover potential. The only risk is that you don’t want to blend the worlds too much, mostly out of fear that people who are only watching one of the two shows start to become somewhat confused by it.

ABC Family does continue to churn out promos for the Halloween event featuring both shows, and you can check out one of them here. Expect the “Pretty Little Liars” installment to be geared more towards setting up the spin-off, as the mystery surrounding Ezra being “A” will be saved for the second half of the season.
