‘America’s Got Talent’ finale results: Did Kenichi Ebina, Collins Key, or Taylor Williamson win?

The full review -It’s been a fun and at times crazy season on “America’s Got Talent,” but at the end of the day, there can only be one winner.

But why does this announcement really have to take two hours? This was a show that was more bloated than almost anything that we have seen on the show before. Given that there was a premiere for “Survivor” and a finale for “Big Brother” tonight, was there any reason that this needed to take as long as it did? We really don’t have any idea, since it was well over an hour before we saw anything even coming close to results.

Now, let’s get to the actual results on the night … and we were really surprised by a good many of these.

6th – Cami Bradley. Considering that she performed first, this was really no surprise at all to see her in this position.

5th – Collins Key. Given that he had the teen girl vote, we almost thought that he was going to be a little bit higher on the list.

4th – Forte. This was the biggest surprise of all for us, given that America does traditionally love opera, and the group actually went at the end of the show.

3rd – Jimmy Rose. This was about what we thought for Jimmy.

Now, we come to the moment of truth: Kenichi Ebina vs. Taylor Williamson. This was the real battle of the ages, with only one of them being worthy of getting the prize. And the winner was … Kenichi! Really, this is the first time in years that the guy we were pulling for actually emerged as the winner. He was just so different than what we have seen before, and extremely humble even in victory. Such a nice, lovely way to end the season, and Taylor’s going to get some great gigs out of this as well.
