‘Glee’ season 5 song spoilers: Hear Demi Lovato, Naya Rivera’s first duet

The cover -Now that all of the songs from the upcoming “Glee” two-part Beatles tribute are online, we are going to be going through one of them a day in order to get an idea as to what music is going to potentially be featured on the show. There is of course one caveat here: Like with the Christmas albums, it is certainly possible that not all of the songs that are featured on the album end up making it on the show. With that being said, we are hoping that this version of “Here Comes the Sun” below featuring Demi Lovato and Naya Rivera makes it onto the “Tina in the Sky with Diamonds” episode. Why? The simple answer here is that it could be important to the story.

As any Gleek would know by now, Lovato will be playing Dani, a woman who becomes a love interest for Santana in New York City. This is the first potential love interest for the Santana character since Brittany, and it will be interesting to see just how it develops over time.

The song itself is sweet and simple, and it gives you a reason to want to root for this couple … at least for a little while. The reason that Brittana fans should really not feel threatened by this relationship is that Demi is only going to be around for six episodes, and we’re not going to be seeing Heather Morris until the spring at the earliest, anyway. (She should give birth very soon to her first child.)
