ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3 spoilers: First details on ‘It’s Handled’ premiere

Are you ready for the “Scandal” season 3 premiere to air? If so, just be ready for a pretty exciting hour of television. There is going to be drama, surprises, and most important some answers to a question that has haunted us since May: Who in the world was responsible for leaking that Olivia and Fitz have been having an affair?

Of course, the official synopsis for the October 3 premiere does not reveal everything, but it does at least give us enough details to know that there are some much-needed reveals coming up:

“With Olivia’s name out there as the President’s mistress, both the White House and Pope & Associates face their biggest Scandal to date, and a surprise allegiance is formed in order to get things handled. Meanwhile, Olivia’s father, Rowan, will stop at nothing to carry out his orders and no one, including Olivia, can stand in his way.”

At some point in the near future, this show is going to introduce us to much more of Olivia Pope’s backstory, which should shed at least a little bit of light about what her relationship with Rowan really is rather than just a cryptic tease at the end of the finale. When you combine this with the Fitz story, we imagine that “It’s Handled” is going to be a pretty ironic title. After all, we more assume that this season of “Scandal” is going to be one where we witness everything falling apart to a certain degree.
