‘New Girl’ season 3, episode 1 preview: A classic Schmidt – Winston battle

Just in case you were worried for whatever reason that “New Girl” was going to start losing some of its edge now that it has been around for a few years, don’t be.

In the video below, you can see a massive amount of smack-talk take place over something as simple as a puzzle. Winston is obsessed about solving it for whatever reason, but there is a problem that comes into play here in that he is completely and utterly terrible at it. We’re sure that this has to be frustrating to him for so many reasons, especially since it teases on the box that it is really for people aged six and up.

From here, things really start to go off the rails. Somehow, these two guys basically end up running around the middle of the apartment shouting at each other in a circle, and we really can’t get over the fact that Winston seems to be wearing no shirt and what is a hoodie pants. We have no idea just how this works, and we can’t imagine that it is particularly comfortable. Is he somehow starting a new fashion trend here, or did he lose the rest of his clothing in a bet?

While we may still be excited to see Nick and Jess, this at least helps to make laugh so much that we are really not too concerned about them.
