‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: When will Juan Pablo Galavis’ journey begin?

Juan Pablo -We have not written very much as of yet about Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of “The Bachelor,” and for a pretty good reason: The show has not even started to film yet.

However, we are getting very close to the beginning of this former soccer star’s journey to finding his hopeful Mrs. Right. When you look back at past history, Sean Lowe’s season started in the last week of September, and if you compare timeframes, that would mean that next week could be the start of taping. While there are all sorts of little adjustments that can be made season by season, we are nearing the point where the season is almost always filmed. The goal traditionally is to have filming done not only in time to edit the show together for its premiere (which will air next year starting on Monday, January 6), but so that the crew will be able to get back home in plenty of time for the major holidays of late November and December. This also ensures that they can wrap before weather starts to become unbearably cold in some parts of the world.

Then again, is Juan Pablo, a Latin man who grew up in Venezuela, really going to spend much time this season in colder locales? We doubt it, since this goes against a very important rule: The bachelor is always shirtless! Well, that may be a slight exaggeration, but still.

Creator Mike Fleiss, producer Robert Mills, and even Juan Pablo himself have all said that they will live-tweet during the first night of the season when the limousines arrive, so be on the lookout for more on this major event.
