‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6 premiere spoilers: Another Katey Sagal sneak peek

Brace yourselves: The “Sons of Anarchy” season 6 premiere is now only a day away.

Yesterday, we shared the first sneak peek from the premiere, and it was a pretty simple scene showing us that Gemma does not particularly like to be called “ma’am.” This time around, we are looking at a different sort of Gemma scene that shows that right now, talking is not high on her list of priorities. Not only Unser, who claims to know her better than most, can really get much of anything out of her.

As frustrating as this may be, can you really blame Gemma as she goes through some heavy stuff right now? Let’s map this out for a second: Katey Sagal’s character has as of late suffered through constant drama with Jax and Tara, the arrest that happened there in the finale, the arrival of Nero last season and the complications there, and also Clay finding himself behind bars. This is a lot for any person to take, even someone as tough and weathered as Gemma is.

Like with almost every other character on the series right now, it is going to take more than just one episode to really sort of out where Gemma stands, and what her agenda at this point ultimately is. The one assumption you can make? That the sun is probably not going to start shining so brightly that all of the little birdies come out and sing. This is not that sort of show. As bad as it may be now, it’s really only going to get worse from here.
