‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 teaser: Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, and a tricky car crash

While Daryl Dixon may be seen in a motorcycle in the photo attached to this article, we have something very different to show off in the “Walking Dead” season 4 video below. For one, he’s in a car, with Michonne and newcomer Bob Stookey (Laurence Giliard Jr.). Also, there are walkers everywhere that he will be forced to kill off.

The sad news about this promo is that you really only get about eight seconds of fantastic zombie action, and the rest is just spent reminding you that the show will be back on AMC come Sunday, October 13. At least the eight seconds that you get are enough to be even more excited about a dark, mysterious season at the prison. This setting will have changed both visually and symbolically this year; it will feel more like a home, and the characters are going to be trying to do more in an effort to call it that.

At the same time, there is going to be a change in how the place is run. Andrew Lincoln’s Rick is taking more of a back seat in an effort to raise his family, meaning that Norman Reedus and Danai Gurira’s characters could have their hands full with added responsibilities. Expect this to be the most interesting season for the two of them yet, especially when it comes around to the end of it. As for Bob, we’re just interested to see how he fits into the story now as one of the latest major characters to join up with these survivors.
