‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 spoilers: The creepy ‘please help me’ promo revealed

Anytime that there is a new promo for “The Walking Dead” these days, it is a reason to celebrate … even if this new promo is really just a few seconds long with an extended title tag at the end of it.

In the video below, you can see exactly what we are talking about here. The real highlight here is not actually anything related to Rick, Daryl, or any of the main characters associated with the show. Instead, it is that incredibly creepy voice bellowing out “please help me” like they are trapped in some sort of 1990s horror movie.

So what is the origin of this voice? Is it one of the other characters on the show? It’s possible, given that there are constantly people in drastic need of some helping when you’re dealing with the oh-so-tiny problem otherwise known as a zombie apocalypse. It could also be a part of some sort of vision (as Rick is pretty prone to that), just as it could also be someone that we have not met yet. There are quite a few characters left, after all, that we have yet to meet for the season ahead.

While we can sit here and complain all about AMC only giving us tiny promos for the show, we will at least say this: At least we are getting something. Better than nothing, right?
