NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 2 spoilers: Dive deeper into ‘Born in the U.S.A.’
Who doesn’t love a tinge of irony? This is something that we find to be very much present in the first official synopsis for the “Revolution” season 2 premiere, mostly because it has a title like “Born in the U.S.A.” that screams Bruce Springsteen, but is almost funny given that there is not even really a United States of America in the world that these characters live in anymore. The world has been divided up, and most of the characters this coming season are going to find themselves in an environment that they label as somewhat foreign and strange to them: Texas.
Want to read more about what Miles, Aaron, and the rest of the gang are going to be up to? You really don’t have to look any further then the synopses below:
“In last year’s finale, our heroes made the treacherous journey to the Tower and were able to turn on the power, but at what cost? The effects of this move prove to be catastrophic for everyone. Now, Miles (Billy Burke), Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) have found themselves in a mysterious small town, in the great nation of Texas where Rachel unexpectedly encounters an important figure from her past. Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) finds herself on a mission in the Plains Nation while Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) and Jason (JD Pardo) search a refugee camp for a lost loved one. Meanwhile, Monroe (David Lyons) has discovered a gritty role in his new environment.”
By the time that this episode airs, we should have a little bit of a greater sense as to where the stories are going to lie for some of these characters, including how much time they will be spending together. What we really hope for more than anything else is that there are ways to unite them within a common thread, but also give them enough separation so that there is flexibility for them to each bounce around and do their own thing.

Idk, the whole thing that made people wanna watch this show was that it was about a group living in a world with no power, and their fighting to turn it back on with evil dictator monroe on their back……..that’s ALL gone after just one season….they’re going to have to come up with something REALLY awesome to keep interest.
