‘MasterChef’ USA season 4 review: Are Luca Manfe, Krissi Biasiello, Natasha Crnjac in finale?
The road to the “MasterChef” finale is complete, with us now finally getting to know the two competitors who will be squaring off next week in a culinary clash of the titans. You had to be amazing to make it this far, but there can only be two that get to that final, super-exciting stage of the contest.
Let’s start by talking about the contestant that we said goodbye to in fourth place: Krissi Biasiello. We don’t imagine that she will be missed by many, given that she was at times cruel, loud, and not likable most of the season. Was she pretty talented? Sure, but it would be a disaster had she won the season given the public perception of her.
We don’t want to waste much time talking about Krissi, mostly because the top three episode was more than entertaining to make us forget about that nasty episode beforehand. After a challenge that more or less determined their advantages in the final stages of the competition, Luca Manfe, Natasha Crnjac, and Jessie Lysiak squared off in an intense competition themed all around “kings”: The king crab, Kobe beef, and the king of cheese. There were a couple of especially notable, entertaining moments in here:
1. Luca acting like he was not some sort of master of cheese, even though he loves the stuff, in an attempt to get an advantage from challenge winner Natasha.
2. Natasha refusing to give Jessie some butter in order to help her out, while Luca did so. We probably wouldn’t have done that; there’s being a good person, but we’d take any advantage we could to help our family.
Luca at this point was carrying the hopes of “MasterChef” men everywhere at this point, given that a guy has never won the show before. Natasha was the first person to advance, and that was no shock given that she is probably going to win. She’s not always nice, but she is very, very good. And she will be joined by … Luca! Great news for Luca fans, and sad news for Jessie, who seemed like a pretty nice person.

It is always…who ever wins…Top 4 or 5 get the job….and rest write the blogs and arrange reunions….i think it is more like longer version of home cook interview to get hired…..funny thing always one stay home person reach top 3 ..so that they can use for their business as it will be far cheaper for three restaurant owners and stay home person has job….they are just taking person and put in boiler and get the one they like…..rest is script……

I hope to be able to buy Natasha’s cookbook. Luca seems too niche, too fancy, while Natasha’s food just looks delicious. She’s really grown on me since the start of the season.

I like Krissi, she’s got a chip on her shoulder but is real and her cookbook would be worth buying. Glad Jessie went home too, always seemed phoney.
