‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: First look at Regina King’s return

Did you like the presence of Regina King on “The Big Bang Theory” last season? From our perspective, it was pretty difficult not to. She took on the role of a human resources manager at Sheldon Cooper’s college, and ended up being a great source of comedy as one of the few people out there that some of these geeks (especially Sheldon) was intimidated by.

Well, King will be back for part of the show’s one-hour premiere on Thursday, September 24, and apparently will get the opportunity to experience something that is almost as bad as Sheldon brandishing her with various stereotypes: Meeting up with a man in Raj who has just discovered the ability to speak with women. He’s basically like a agoraphobic person who has just learned that it is okay to be outside for extended periods of time, and he’ll be trying to make up for lost time and talking about anything and everything. Unfortunately, there’s a difference between being able to talk and knowing how to talk, and given that this group already has a reputation with her, we cannot imagine that this will end particularly well.

As for why we only see Howard and Raj in this photo, one simple reason may be that this may be concurrent with Leonard still being at sea, Sheldon and Penny trying to bond in his absence (which should be instant comedy), and Bernadette and Amy going off to a conference together. We know that these two ladies probably would not be at Howard and Raj’s place of work in the first place, but still.
