‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5 spoilers: Deeks’ bad state teased in first promo

If there is one way to look at the “NCIS: Los Angeles” premiere coming to CBS on Tuesday, September 24, it is simply as a race against time. We have long been teased about Deeks’ torture chamber being something to watch out for in this episode, and it’s going to get pretty ugly for him long before it is going to get better.

You can see all of this and more in the first promo for the season below, along with a few other key moments. If you are a shipper of a particular couple, you may say “aw” at one moment while watching. Meanwhile, there are also epic chase scenes, more torture, and a sight of Eric Christian Olsen’s character bloodied, worn down, and possibly on the verge of not making it out alive.

Now, we turn to the “spoiler alert!” section of the article. This is really not that much of a spoiler given that the show’s producers have already teased it, but Deeks is going to make it through this pretty difficult time. The struggle for him is going to be more of the long-term implications of going through this. He’s going to need a little bit of therapy, and your life changes beyond the shadow of a doubt when you are forced to deal with something like this. He also will have to evaluate things with Kensi, and figure out what that kiss that took place at the end of last season really meant.
