ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Another look at Emily Thorne’s ‘wedding’ in new promo

Do you want to see a few more hints at the story ahead on “Revenge” season 3? If so, we imagine that there is going to be quite a bit that you like in the latest promo for the show just unveiled by ABC … though you are also going to see it flash by extremely quickly.

This video has to be identified as one of the shortest ones out there, and the highlights are simply seeing some new Hamptons glamour, a body hitting the ground not named Emily Thorne, and also a brief shot of Emily with Daniel. The interesting thing about this particular scene is that the dress Emily is wearing here is the same one that she wore when kissing Jack. Do we now have yet another reason to feel sorry for Jack? We like to think that the answer to that question is “yes.”

We know that the biggest mystery here still is whether or not Emily actually gets shot while in her wedding dress. This scene will be teased in the opening flash-forward, but will likely not actually surface in real-time until the end of the fall season in late November / early December.

There is also some footage in this promo for the new show airing after “Revenge” in “Betrayal,” which is not something that we have to say we’re excited about. It feels like it’s trying too hard to be “Scandal” meets “50 Shades of Grey,” and the objectification of men on ABC is something that is a little bit annoying and probably under-discussed when you consider what the reaction would be if this video teased “hot girls” rather than “hot guys.”
