‘The X Factor’ USA season 3: Simon Cowell talks Demi Lovato, dances with puppies, and more

We know that Simon Cowell has not exactly had the best past month or so when you look at some of what he has been through. However, we’re not going to focus on that here, and instead, we’re casting our attention solely at some of the fun that is going to be coming up on the upcoming third season of “The X Factor.”

We’re not even exaggerating here when we say that this show will be a good time. In the video below, you can see Simon being messed around with by the likes of Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, and Paulina Rubio. Also, we see him playing around with a small dog (aww), and him also being accosted in a pretty shocking way. Makes for good television, no?

While we are more aware than ever that the show can really edit these auditions up to look amazing, everything that we are hearing right now is positive in comparing this process to last season. There are no more concerns about whether or not the judges are going to say anything productive, just as we also do not have the sight of Britney Spears saying a few words and then sinking back into her chair. The judges all want to be there, and more importantly than that, they look like they are ready to offer something to the contestants and the cameras.

When the dust settles, though, the judges really are the second priority to the actual talent that shows up. This show has found some success this year with Fifth Harmony and Emblem3, and to be fair they are each probably going to end up being more successful than anyone from “American Idol,” but there still should be a Kelly Clarkson-like talent discovered here to really validate the show.
