‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 9 spoilers: Meet even more of Robin’s family

You may have already heard the teasers about getting the opportunity to meet the stepmother and possibly even the mother of Cobie Smulders’ Robin on “How I Met Your Mother,” but how would you like to see another family member turn up before the end of this season?

According to TVLine, prepare to meet a new addition to her family clan in Claude, who is French-Canadian and may be involved in some questionable things related to hockey. Yep, you better be prepared now to start inserting some Canadian stereotypes left and right here for this role. Claude will appear in the ninth episode of the season entitled “Mom and Dad,” which could practically turn out to be an enormous Scherbatsky family reunion depending on who decides to appear.

For those of you curious about another member of Robin’s family, there is no word yet on if Lucy Hale could reprise her role as her little sister. Given that “Pretty Little Lars” will still be in production until a little later in the year, we’d assume that it would be more likely to see her in the spring, similar to when we ended up seeing Ashley Benson this past season as Barney’s half-sister. Speaking of Benson, we’d also like to see her turn in another appearance before the show is over, mostly because it would make so much more sense for her to do so.
