‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco embrace in first photo

For this first look at the upcoming seventh season of “The Big Bang Theory,” we personally imagine you having one rather quick reaction to it: Aww. At the end of the day, this is an image that is really much more sweet than it is comedic, and it shows how these two very unlikely people are going to bond together thanks really to their collective love for Leonard.

The basics that you need to know, just in case you have been in outer space or at the North Pole for most of the summer, are rather simple. During this episode, Sheldon will be a substantial amount of time removed from Leonard’s departure aboard Stephen Hawking’s ship, and as a result, he will be going through the emotional wringer. Expect bad dreams on his part, some panicking regarding mundane activities, and for Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco’s characters to actually become friends on a little bit of a deeper level. (Plus, we imagine that Penny may sympathize with Leonard more courtesy of what he actually puts up with on a daily basis from Sheldon.)

As for some other characters, this story for Raj will revolve somewhat around the sort of “what now?” that comes from him being able to talk to women, and we are also poised to see Bernadette and Amy bond in a way that they have not really before to this point. They are two of those characters who really have not spent a ton of time together alone, which should be fun to watch. (We’re also pulling for an episode geared around Sheldon and Bernadette, mostly because her temper could make it rather awesome.)
