‘Elementary’ season 2: Take a first look at Jonny Lee Miller’s return

The latest -On Thursday, September 26 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, you better be prepared for a little bit more of Holmes and Watson. “Elementary” season 2 will be back on TV, and we could not be more thrilled to kick off the journey of these two characters again.

While the first promo for the show (via SpoilerTV) below is exciting, we do give a slight frowny face when it comes to not getting anything particularly riveting in there when it comes to content. Given how hyped we are to see the show head to London for the season premiere, why not give us a little bit of that? This is where so many of the primary questions regarding Holmes’ past will be answered, and hopefully we can see even more of his friendship with Watson build as a result.

Here’s what we can tell you about the new season so far:

1. Sherlock’s brother Mycroft will have some sort of important role within the first few episodes of the season, and continue to open the book somewhat on why this man is like he is.

2. Watson is going to have a more active role than ever in the cases, which is imperative given that Sherlock needs someone to help keep him and his crazy, brilliant brain in line.

3. We may seen Irene Adler (Natalie Dormer) at some point in the future, but it is probably not going to happen at any point early this coming season. (With her joining the “Hunger Games” franchise, the wait could be even longer than expected.)

Is there anything that you are particularly looking forward to seeing on “Elementary” season 2? Be sure to share some of your thoughts with a comment below! We’ll have more news soon, so keep your Sherlock hats on and come back here to discuss more mysteries.
