‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 9 spoilers: Neil Patrick Harris shares new photos from set

As the production on “How I Met Your Mother” season 9 continues on, we are going to have some lovely scoop from the set courtesy of a man who has nearly spent a decade there hard at work: Neil Patrick Harris.

You can see the two images that we are talking about below courtesy of his Instagram page, and since we like to think of ourselves as the Sherlock Holmes of TV sitcoms, we will try to do our best to analyze them and find the scoop within.

1. This photo of Ted and Robin is probably the most interesting, given that it is just Ted and Robin. Anytime that you have an image of these two characters together, they are inevitably going to be people freaking out. Also, is Robin wearing a wedding band in this photo? Either this is a flash-forward, or she is just goofing around on set wearing the ring that she sports in her everyday life. (The actress is married to Taran Killam from “Saturday Night Live.”)

2. Save for the sweet robot in the back and Harris’ caption about Marshall and Lily possibly being conjoined twins on the upcoming season, there is really not anything of value that you can take from this … though it is always nice to see the two characters together and smiling.
