‘Dexter’ season 8, episode 9 preview: Deb and Quinn’s big move
There is quite a bit to ultimately look forward to when it comes to next week’s “Dexter” season 8 episode. For one, the episode has a rather awesome title in “Make Your Own Kind of Music” that is probably going to please “Lost” fans everywhere. In addition to that, it’s also going to have the potential to give you quite a few interesting developments on how this series will reach its endgame.
For one, we have the prospect of Dexter literally trying to move forward and build a life with Hannah McKay. Seriously. We get no Lumen at all, but this story continues. It’s a weird situation considering how much we loved Yvonne Strahovski on “Chuck,” but we’re just not feeling the chemistry these two characters have here. It also just feels like Dexter running away with this woman is a strange ending, given how little of the show she has been around for.
Also in this episode, get ready to see both Deb and Quinn finally start to make the move to be closer again … maybe. It at least seems like the two characters are going to lock lips, which is far closer to being an item than they have been in a very long time. (There are still obviously some huge problems there.) Finally, Dexter is going to come up with a new plan to take out the Brain Surgeon, especially as the revelation has been made now that the character is alive.

I think its Cassie’s boyfriend and somehow may have a connection with Dr. Vogel, probably one of her ex-patient or someone related to her family. We don’t know much about the fact if she have a family or not, only that she had a husband in the past.

Doctor Vogel must be the killer. She is the only mysterious recurring character in the series. There is nobody else it could be. The killer has to be somewhere in the limelight the whole time, whether we know it or not. That’s the only way it will make an impact.

I think so too that Dr. Vogel could be the killer. She just loves being around killers and manipulating them way too much. She is very creepy. Now since Quinn is obsessed with catching Dexter’s protege I think possibly he had a hand in the framing of him, however he lacks the skills to take out his brain. Dr Vogel could do this with ease. The neighbour’s boyfriend could have been planted there as a way to get close to all he wants to kill. He must have some past connection to Dexter and his group in order to have the need for revenge. Maybe he know Dr. Vogel. She likes to collect her patients and mould them into killers she finds acceptable in society. She also likes to study them so probably had the protege killed off and she removed his brain as an object to study.
I do not think for a moment Hannah is done with Dexter. She said evidence was left on the boat but this was not addressed. She may frame him in the future. With her new ID she could disappear but then he had this made for her so could inform the authorities.
Dexter will never let his true skill set be known to the public for the sake of his son whom he loves unconditionally. He worries too much his son will turn out like him just like Tom Hanks character Forest Gump.
Someone will kill off Hannah someday protecting Dexter’s reputation and I am betting it will be Dexter who will be full of regrets doing it. She will again try to hurt someone he cares for and this will seal her fate. If he does kill her I bet Dexter makes her his last kill.
