ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Gabriel Mann on different story for Nolan

Have you been hoping to see more of Nolan’s love life on “Revenge”? If so, you are probably going to find what we have to say now to be very good news. Even though there may not be a love interest in store at any point in the near future, there is going to be an opportunity to actually see the character with several romantic partners for the change … at least based on Gabriel Mann’s new comments to TVLine:

“Aside from his best partner-in-crime Emily — which is really the place where he holds the most love –  Nolan’s not looking to get too attached. So, we may see a new, slutty phase that he’s going through.”

Basically, this sounds like quite a bit of fun for him; Nolan’s long been one of the more entertaining lights of the show, and it felt like last year he was getting too bogged down with the Falcon and some other heavy stuff that caused this show to go somewhat off of the rails. Season 3 is considered to be more of a return to the show’s roots, and for fans of almost all of the main characters, this is a great thing. It’s a chance to remember what we really liked about them in the first place, and that is their propensity to get themselves involved in some juicy storylines.

As a whole, Mann suggests that there are going to be many more steamy scenes on the show this season overall, which he thinks is much more fitting of something that is supposed to be a primetime soap of this nature. “Guilty pleasure” should be the right words to describe it, and everything that we are hearing right now suggests that the show is heading back in the right direction.
